Open Position: Summer 2026 Development Intern

Posted May 4, 2026

Cure Alzheimer’s Fund is seeking a motivated summer intern to join our Development Team in 2026. This is an opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in fundraising, donor relations, communications, and nonprofit operations while contributing to our mission of ending Alzheimer’s disease.

The Development Intern will support our community fundraising program, CureAlz Heroes, by preparing research on fundraising trends, creating content, and contributing ideas. They will also gain exposure to donor cultivation through stewardship and outreach efforts. The experience culminates in a capstone project, where the intern will research and propose an innovative strategy to strengthen community fundraising efforts at Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

The ideal candidate is a college or university student studying nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or a related field, who has strong communication skills, is detail-oriented, and eager to learn. A proactive mindset and interest in nonprofit development or fundraising are key to success in this role.
