During the holiday shopping season of 2017, sisters Lili and Tanya Cantu of Austin, Texas, held an online fundraiser selling prints and greeting cards of their father, Alex Cantu’s, artwork. Though he had always been a gifted artist, as his disease progressed his loved ones were amazed by how his art changed and became more vibrant, free and imaginative. Those who purchased the prints and cards were encouraged to make donations of any amount directly to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund in Alex’s name. Lili and Tanya could tell their dad, now 72, was pleased by the love and support!
