After watching his father live with Alzheimer’s, Jerry Porzemsky became determined to help create a future free from the disease. For more than 14 years, Jerry, a practicing psychologist with a passion for travel, photography, and lifelong learning, has supported Cure Alzheimer’s Fund (CureAlz). To ensure his commitment to funding Alzheimer’s research would continue beyond his lifetime, he included CureAlz as a beneficiary in his will, creating a lasting legacy in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

A legacy gift, also known as planned or deferred giving, is a meaningful way to extend your impact by including CureAlz in your will, trust, or estate plan. A legacy gift can be structured in a variety of ways and can be updated as your circumstances or priorities change:

• Leave a specific dollar amount or asset
• Designate a percentage of your estate
• Make a residual gift after providing for loved ones and other commitments

One hundred percent of your gift will support our research program. If you are interested in directing your contribution to a specific program, or to fund CureAlz operations, we encourage you to speak with our team before finalizing your plans.

To include CureAlz in your will or living trust, please review the following sample language with your estate planning attorney:

“I give to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Foundation, dba Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, a nonprofit corporation currently located at 34 Washington Street, Suite 230, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481, or its successor thereto, ______________* [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.”
